11 foreign players from Superleague
In this blog we decided to make a football roster made only by foreign footballers who play for Greek fcs. Our tactic is 4-4-2.
1. Jose Sa (Goalkeeper/Olympiakos)
Our goalkeeper is Jose Sa who has an excellent season at Olympiakos who is 2nd. He "captured" the role of the main goalkeeper from Gianniotas who failed to impress. Contrariwise Jose Sa won Pedro Martins' trust(headcoach of OSFP) and he consisted a vital factor to club qualification to 32 of Europa League.
2. Leo Matos (Defender Right/PAOK)
Leo Matos the right back of PAOK,who is the leader in league, undoubtedly is involved in this 11. The 32 years old Brazilian defender is in Paok's roster since 2016 and he had one of his best seasons. Having scored the most goals in his career and shown his great ability in defence and dribbling have provided to PAOK a diversity of solutions in difficult situations and a helping hand in the creation of goals.
3. Pape Abou Cisse (Center Back/Olympiakos)
One more player from Olympiakos is added in our list. His name is Cisse and he has distinguished between many defenders. He is just in his 23 and 1,97 fact that make him the ideal defender. Also he has scored important goals in Europa and Super league usually in the nick of the time. His composure in difficult situations make us to strongly believe in his transfer in a bigger club.
4.Fernando Varela (Center Back/PAOK)
As you may have noticed PAOK overpower in defenders transfers. Fernando Varela in his 31years have the best season of his career such as Matos. Also he has the way to find nets and although his height(1.83) he usually scores with his head. It looks like PAOK have found a way to score by fouls.
5. Emanuel Insua (Defender Left/Panathinaikos)
6. Amr Warda (Attacking Mildfielder Left/Atromitos)
7.Birbas Natkho (Central Mildfielder/Olympiakos)
Another one player of Olympiakos joined in our roster. We have a variety of choices in this place but we tried to find the 2 central Mildfielders. Natkho is the one. The experienced 30 years old mildfielder has provided to OSFP many benefits. He may be old but his ability in creation is the strong point. Informationely our Israelian footballer was playing for PAOK and CSKA Moscow.
8. Mateo Garcia (Central,Left Mildfielder/Aris)
Mateo Garcia who is able to play in 2 positions in our tactic is used as a central mildfielder. Playing football for Aris in his 22 I have to say that he has already catch our impressions.His goals has gave relevant points to Aris and generally I believe in his transfer to a bigger reputation club.
9. Leo Zaba (Left Mildfielder/PAOK)
Leo Zaba is a specific situation of footballer. He is the 3rd player of PAOK in our list and the only thing that I have to say for him is that the world is waiting a huge talent. In his 20s he is in the leading squad of PAOK and he has give a lot of to his club. He is a player who is able to do almost everything. He is creative, fast, dribbler, assister. His weak point is long shoots but all the others fill his identity as a footballer. I have to say that PAOK'S scouters have made a great job.
10. Ezequiel Ponce (Striker/AEK)
Ponce is the second scorer in league behind Koulouris(for more information check the Greek underrated wonderkids) and he is the first scorer for AEK. There are some reasons why we bring him to our 11. Firstly he is on loan from Roma to AEK, he is only 21 and he have shew some great evidences of cultivation to a better striker and the rumours that he will become the new Araujo for AEK. Araujo was a footballer who played for AEK in the previous season and he honestly make the difference for AEK.
11. Ahmed Hasan (Striker/Olympiakos)
And the last one is Ahmed Hasan. In his 25 the Egyprian striker has scored in the most of the games he had played for Olympiakos. His strong point is his head, he has scored all his goal by using his head. I think that he must be in our 11 because he is such as Amr Warda, he is giving solutions in difficult situations.
SUBSTITUTIONS
We have the right to have 7 players as substitution whom just 3 are going to be used. We are going to have 1extra goalkeeper 2 defenders, 2 Mildfielders, 2 Strikers
I. Matic Kotnik (Goalkeeper/Panionios)
Kotnik is our substitution in goalkeeper position. His appearances have impress us and he was close to sign up at Olympiakos but he prefered to stay in Panionios.
II. Niclas Hult (Left Defender/AEK)
Previous Panathinaikos defender left the club cause of financial problems and AEK grapped the opportunity to sign him and add him in her roster. As it seems it was a smart transfer that helped AEK in the organisation of her game.
III.Rodrigo Galo Brito (Right Defender/ AEK)
Another one AEK'S player is gonna fill our substitutions. Rodrigo Galo who could actually be in the beggining 11. At his 32 ( like Matos) he has helped AEK. Just to know he was the scorer in AEK-Celtic game that was really important for the Athenian club in UEFA Champions League play offs.The lack of foreing defenders and his ability to shoots make us to bring him up
IV. Alef (Mildifielder/ AEK)
Our third player from AEK is joined in this list. It looks like that AEK players come second, anyway Alef was the last singing of AEK and however he was late he proved to everyone that he is something more than just a footballer. Playing mostly in defense he helps AEK which have on loan from Portuguese Braga fc.
V. Guilherme Torres-Srdan Spiridonovic ( Mildefielder/ Olympiakos-Panionios)
It is a really difficult choice to choose between this two mildefielders. Guilherme is a pretty good footballer but Spiridonovic is an attacking mildfielder. If I was obligated to pick one of them I would bring Spiridonovic because we need an attacking mildifelder. Also he is better dribbler and quicker.
VI. Daniel Pondence- Guerrero (Strikers/ Olympiakos)
Our choices here are difficult two. The two players from OSFP are exactly the half of each other. The one is fast and magic dribbler(Pondence) but he can't end properly. On the other side Guerrero has a good positioning and ending. If I must pick one I would pick Guerrero thanks to his ending but they are both good enough
VII. Fiorin Durmishaj (Striker/Panionios)
Durmishaj, the 21year old Albanian striker is my last sub. He is playing for Panionios and after Masouras leaving he became the main striker of team. To be honest I don't think that he could be in the begging 11 so this is the reason why I bring him as a sub.

| Here we have a footballer from a different fc. He is one of the eldest of Panathinaikos 27 years old(Panathinaikos has financial problems that do not allow him to buy players so he uses young players from academy). Just to be honest we mainly bring him because he was one of the few foreign players who plays as a left back but that doesn't mean that he is not a great defender. He has scored the most brilliant goal in his career in Trifylli and as he stated he is happy however, the financial problems and the lack of salary. |
6. Amr Warda (Attacking Mildfielder Left/Atromitos)

| The Egyptian 25 years old Mildfielder is the next one in our 11. He plays to Atromitos on loan from PAOK because he didn't find place in Lucesku's(PAOK's head coach) roster. Although he didn't fail to impress and thanks to his swiftness, dribbling and shoots he did to be in Egypt's roster. Just to know this is his second season in Atromitos after his return to PAOK where he usually was a substitution. |
7.Birbas Natkho (Central Mildfielder/Olympiakos)
Another one player of Olympiakos joined in our roster. We have a variety of choices in this place but we tried to find the 2 central Mildfielders. Natkho is the one.
